Signup Today for our Annual Valentines Paintball Biathlon.
Paintball biathlon combines the sports of Nordic skiing and target shooting, using paintball guns instead of the traditional fire-powered target rifles. The course and distance will vary depending upon age category. Each loop features a shooting station where the skier has a chance to improve their overall time … for every successful target hit, 10 seconds will be deducted from their elapsed time. Not hitting the targets does not change their elapsed time.

After the Biathlon, Stay Around for a Ski Orienteering Race
There will also be a ski orienteering clinic and race for a $5.00 fee. Race to a series of control locations along the trail network in order, with the route between them up to you. Speed counts, but thinking and navigating cleanly when your heart is pounding is what will win it for you.
Introductory clinic run by Up North Orienteers (http://www.upnoor.org/) will be held shortly after the morning biathlon race. Race starts will begin immediately after the noon raffle – interval starts. Last start at 2:00 pm.
